Inner Dragon Martial Arts has been on Derry Road in Hudson for 11 years, teaching classical Kenpo the way it was handed down — full curriculum, real standards, and belts that mean something when you earn them.
Plenty of schools teach kicks. Fewer teach a kid how to hold a stance when it burns, how to lose a match and shake a hand, or how to walk into a room and speak up. That is the part parents tell us about later: homework done without a fight, a sibling handled differently, a teacher who noticed.
We push kids in a believe-in-you way. We never confuse harshness with high expectations, or babying with kindness.

With over 35 years of martial arts experience, Shihan Randy is a genuinely passionate instructor who is constantly working to improve himself and pass that along to his students. He holds 7 black belts in different styles, including a Sixth Degree in Kenpo, Goju Ryu and Jiu-Jitsu, and has trained with some of the greatest martial artists and organizations in the world, including the Bujinkan and the Japanese National Goju Federation.
But it was his study with the Anthony Robbins Foundation that most shaped how he teaches and connects with students. With almost 25 years coaching and training kids and adults, his ability to motivate people is exceptional — and he is still a lifetime student himself, training at other schools, attending seminars, and training online with the Legends Team.
His greatest passion has always been giving back. He has organized numerous charitable programs, including a Thanksgiving Food Drive that has fed over 5,000 people across the past 17 years.
01
Be the person others want to follow. Take responsibility when things go wrong, and look for chances to lift the people around you.
02
Show respect to instructors, teammates, and yourself — then bring energy that lifts the room. How you carry yourself on the mat is how you carry yourself everywhere else.
03
Older students help younger ones, because teaching is how you master anything. It is also how a Thanksgiving food drive ends up feeding 5,000 people over 17 years.
